Answers to your questions:

What materials will I need for the course?

You will need a hook that matches the thickness of yarn you choose. The introductory lesson will guide you in your choice. To have a result identical to mine, a 2.75mm hook with a sport cotton yarn(#3) will be ideal. For a larger format, a 5mm hook with super bulky chenille yarn (#6) will give you very soft animals 😌

However, it is possible to obtain the Starter kit containing all the materials needed to create the small projects in the course. I also include a high quality hook 🖤

Do I need to take the basic crochet class before signing up for this one?

Although the crochet course for beginners is a complete training that will allow you to crochet whatever you want, if your primary goal is to crochet amigurumis, you can very well start your learning with this course ! 

I have included a lesson for those who have never crocheted before. From the first minutes of the course, you will learn the basics so that you can then continue with small animals.

I have no craft skills 😩 Is this course for me?

You will see, no need to have talent to be able to crochet. And I'm sure you'll be surprised by your abilities!

Personally, I am not a meticulous person in my daily life and I have never had enough patience for knitting and sewing 😅. What I love about crochet is that you don't have to be so meticulous. Mistakes don't seem that much and they are so easy to fix when you notice them!

Is the online course as effective as a face-to-face course?

The advantage of the online course is that you can follow it from the comfort of your favorite couch and at the time you want.

In addition, with the clear and close shots, you will see the movements and crochet stitches very well. Options to put the video in slow motion or to go back a few seconds will be very useful if necessary.
